A tutorial that will introduce you to important sound concepts and Audacity, a sound recoding and editing platform.

Quality audio recording and editing require attention to detail and understanding of a variety of sound concepts. This section introduces those concepts with the focus being on voice recording (e.g., voiceover narration). The practicum is intended to get you to apply the concepts and to help you gain basic sound editing skills.
