# Editing your Journal's Website

OJS provides a standard, user friendly home-screen that serves as a good home base for your readers. The below example is from a discontinued journal, and shows the typical layout of a journal's home screen.

Please note the following features in the above screen:

1. The name of the current issue **\[Vol 10 No 5 (2010)].**
2. A clickable link to the abstract (the title link listed under "Articles") as well as the **Galley**, shown above as the **PDF Label**.
3. The sidebar, which hosts different "boxes" seen above, like the **Information** and **Hosted By** boxes.

Managing the different elements on this screen are key to giving the users on your site a positive experience. To edit these boxes, and ultimately add an image, click on your username in the top right corner, and then select Dashboard.

As you may know, the **Dashboard** is where you can go to make changes to your journal. Once you are in your dashboard, click on **Settings** and then **Website.**

Now you will be looking at the Website Settings Screen - this screen is where you will go for any adjustments to your Ejournal website. Whether it is your color scheme, sidebar, menu-options - everything related to the reader's experience on your home screen can be altered in the Website Settings section.
