# Background Noise Removal using Audacity 

You can use the Noise Reduction Effect in Audacity to remove constant and steady background noises like air conditioning or buzzing lights. 

To Open **Audacity,** press **Command** and **F** keys (for "find"), type "Audacity" in the search box, and click on the application when it appears in the search results.
