# Exercise: Experiment with 3D creation tools

In the Digital Studio, we have access to equipment for both 3D modeling and laser scanning. The aim of this hands-on experiment is to explore and try to create 3D models, perhaps for use in the Alternate Reality (AR) scene to be created in the next part of the incubator.

### Equipment Available

* Photogrammetry setup with Lightbox and basic DSLR camera, good for objects down to about the size of your fist
* Hand-held Laser Scanner (borrowed from Schiller), good for quick scanning of larger models (and people!)
* Hand-held laser Scanner with roundtable setup, good for objects down to 3cm
